Instructions
- Prepare the chicken breasts by pounding them to an even 1/2-inch thickness
- Set up three shallow bowls – one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper
- Dredge each chicken breast first in flour, then egg, then the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere the coating
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook chicken for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through
- Top each chicken breast with a slice of turkey ham, then a slice of Swiss cheese. Cover the skillet and cook for 1-2 minutes until cheese is melted
- While chicken cooks, whisk together all honey mustard sauce ingredients in a small bowl until smooth
- Serve chicken immediately with honey mustard sauce drizzled over the top or on the side for dipping
Notes
Don't overcrowd the pan – cook in batches if necessary to maintain crispiness. For a thinner sauce, add a teaspoon of water. For thicker sauce, refrigerate for 15 minutes before serving. For a baking option, bake at 400°F for 20-25 minutes.
